Last Min DIY Gift Guide
Before closing out 2019, we wanted to share our very own DIY holiday gift guide! This is great for all of you crafty (last-minute) gift-givers!
Coffee Sugar Body Scrub
Sugar body scrubs are a fun DIY project, not to mention exfoliating, detoxifying, and super hydrating. Plus, they smell delicious! Resist the urge to eat it though.
You'll need:
1/2 cup brown sugar, cane sugar or Turbinado sugar. (Do not use refined sugar or bleached sugars).
3/4 cup ground coffee
3-5 tablespoons coconut oil, extra-virgin olive oil, or jojoba oil. (Do not use vegetable or canola oil).
Place the sugar and coffee in a small container and add oil one tablespoon at a time, mixing in between. The consistency should be sandy, not soupy.

Maple & Spiced Nuts
This is a little recipe my mother and I make during the holidays and gift to friends. Make a large batch and package in mason jars or a small cookie box.
You'll need:
4 cups of mixed nuts
2 cups of maple sugar
1 cup of water
Zest of 1 orange
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 teaspoon of nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves
In a heavy saucepan, mix all the ingredients. Bring to a medium heat and stir the mixture constantly, until the nuts become dry and sugary. Pour the nuts onto a buttered baking sheet and let it all cool. Place into jars or tins, wrap them in a bow, and gift them with love.
All our warmest,
